Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what information Alamari One holds, why it is held, and how it is protected. We ask for only what is needed to run the residence well.

Who we are

Alamari One is provided by Alamari Group for residents of Alamari Boulevard, Airport Road, Amman, Jordan. This policy explains what information we hold, why we hold it, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect

When you register, we ask for your name, gender, phone number and a photo, together with documents used to verify your residency, such as a national ID or residency card, proof of residency, and a family registry where relevant. Further records are created as you use the app:

  • Facility reservations and their times
  • Bills, payments and receipts — the app never collects card or bank details; payments are settled with management directly and confirmed by a billing clerk
  • Visitor names, phone numbers and the gate passes you create
  • Maintenance and other reports, including any photo or video you attach
  • Messages and files you send through the app's chat
  • Your device's notification token, used only to deliver push notifications to you

Why we hold it

Your information is used to give you access to your home and its facilities, to issue and settle bills, to admit your guests, to handle maintenance, and to keep you informed with timely notifications. We rely on the agreement you make when you register and on what is genuinely needed to administer your residency and the community's shared spaces. Your information is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Who can see it

Access is scoped by role. You and your household see the information that belongs to your home. Management and authorised staff see what they need to operate the residence and serve your requests. Residents cannot see the private information of other homes.

Third parties and service providers

Running Alamari One means relying on a small number of specialist providers, who process limited information strictly to provide their service to us:

  • Google Firebase — delivers your push notifications, and helps us find crashes and understand which parts of the app are used, tied to an internal account identifier rather than your name
  • Supabase — hosts the app's database, sign in and file storage
  • Google Fonts — may load a typeface directly from Google when the app opens, in the same way any website loading a remote resource does

International data transfers

Some of our providers, including Google Firebase, operate infrastructure outside Jordan. Where your information is processed abroad in this way, it happens only as needed to provide the features described above, and by using Alamari One you consent to this transfer on that basis. We choose providers we consider reputable and expect them to protect your information no less carefully than we do.

Documents and security

Your identity and residency documents are held in access-controlled storage and are visible only to authorised management, never published or shared publicly. We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, and continue to improve them as the app evolves. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but protecting your information is something we take seriously.

Notifications

With your permission, the app sends notifications for events that concern your home, such as an arriving guest, an approaching due date or an update to a request. You remain in control of these on your device.

Children and family members

Family members you add to your household, including minors, are registered and managed by you as the primary resident, or by another adult with parental responsibility. If a family member is a minor, you are responsible for that consent and for the accuracy of their information.

Retention

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to serve your residency and to meet the residence's administrative and legal obligations, and is handled responsibly thereafter. Some technical records are kept only briefly by design — diagnostic logs from the web app, for instance, are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

Under Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law, you have a number of rights over your own information. You may:

  • Know what information we hold about you and how it is used
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, where our use of your information depends on it
  • Ask us to limit or erase your information, where this does not conflict with our administrative or legal obligations to the residence
  • Object to processing you believe is unjustified
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable form, where technically feasible
  • Raise a complaint with us, or with Jordan's data protection authority, if you believe your information has been mishandled

Contact us

For any question about this policy, to exercise any of the rights above, or to raise a concern about your information, please contact residence management on +962 79 344 4361. We will do our best to help.

If something goes wrong

If a security incident occurs that affects your personal information, we will act promptly to contain it and will notify you and the competent authorities as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app and the residence evolve. We may not always be able to notify each resident individually when we do, so please check this page from time to time for the current version. Using the app after an update is posted means you accept the policy as it then stands.
